Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Be aware! Some seller is selling pirate copies. ...
For your information; Symantec doesn't market PCAnywhere series in paper sleeves, any Symantec product comes in paper sleeves without retail box (other than Norton Anti-virus) is fake.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - * don't buy it ...
I use PC Anywhere every day to admin systems and I can tell you 11.5 is not a upgrade it will only slow down your access and cause other issues with the performance of your system. This must have been a rush release. I have went back to 10.5 and will probably stay ther until I am convinced Symnatec has released a quality upgrade to this product. I contacted about these things to no avail. It sounds like just about everyone else rating this product feels the same. I like 10.5 and previous versions but somebody really let the quality slip on 11.5

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * pcAnywhere is great for demonstration purposes! ...
I have a PC in the livingroom for showing videos, slides, etc for my 2 year old. I had to come out of my study to switch programs for him since he is still on a high chair at a safe distance from the monitor and keyboard. With this wonderful product, I can remotely control the livingroom pc from my study and I know exactly what's being shown on that pc's monitor. This is something that terminal service CANNOT do! I also use it among the several PC's I have and save the cost for KVM switches!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * pcanywhere 11.5 host and remote ...
Product worked great. The wizard allows for easy setup for a new connection. Ive used several previous versions of pcanywhere and as far as ease of use the previous versions are not in the same league as the current one.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * PcA still tops in file transfer ...
[...] Terminal Services does not include a simple to configure (or use for that matter) file transfer function. PcAnywhere is still tops in file transfer functionality. The Command Queue in versions 11.0 and above is simply sweet. Load up file transfer and transfer over as many files as you like in the order you choose. You don't have to wait for the last file(s) to transfer before you move on to other files. You just keep selecting files to transfer and PcA puts them into a queue list to be sent in the order you selected them. You can rearrange this list as well, as it's processing. Sure, there are a ton of PcAnywhere alternatives, but without FTP/HTTP or VPN connections to transfer files (which may also require more firewall fiddling), PcAnywhere gives you the capability and does so very well. If you don't need to transfer data/files, then by all means, use RDC (Remote Desktop Control) or Terminal Services or VNC or....well, you get the picture. And those are only the tip of the remote control software iceberg....but PcA is still one of the best all inclusive tools around.

This 44-minute musical Christmas movie finds Pooh, Tigger, Darby, and the rest of everyone's favorite characters from the Hundred Acre Wood enjoying a busy Christmas Eve filled with Christmas preparations and dreams about what they hope to receive from Santa. When Roo and Lumpy discover a fancy red bag in the snow and then stumble upon a young reindeer named Holly caught in a thicket, they find out that the bag they've found is Santa's magical toy sack and that without it, Santa may have to cancel Christmas. When Holly is unable to remember which direction leads home, Roo and Lumpy sound the super sleuth siren and the whole gang sets off for the North Pole to return Santa's bag. Using their knowledge of the North Star to guide them, the hopeful group makes their way toward the North Pole, but finds the road difficult and full of danger. Can the group make it to Santa in time to save Christmas by working together? Will their individual Christmas wishes ever come true? Bonus features include two episodes about friendship and teamwork ("Symphony for Rabbit" and "Tigger Goes Snowflakey") and the "Hundred Acre Wood Downhill Game" in which players pretend to ski down a hill and then interactively match presents with their intended recipients. (Ages 2 and older) --Tami Horiuchi

Pooh Bear and his pals in the Hundred Acre Wood celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve in a pair of adventures folded into this 65-minute made-for-video feature. In the first, the silly old bear plays Saint Nick to his buddies ("I always thought he'd be taller") after failing to get an errant wish list off to Santa, while identity crisis strikes the gang in the second half. Piglet inherits Tigger's hop and jumps like a pogo stick, and Eeyore (dressed in Pooh's shirt) becomes a happy-go-lucky honey lover. Welcome to The Twilight Zone according to Winnie the Pooh. There's not much A.A. Milne in this TV-style holiday special, but it's a bouncy little production that should entertain the wee ones with its warm fuzzies, good company, slapstick energy, and life lessons. --Sean Axmaker
